Who is responsible

Smortikatlo LLC operates this website under the Smortikatlo brand. We are responsible for the personal information we use to handle enquiries and administer our business relationships.

Information we receive

• Enquiries: your name, email address, company, website, and any information or attachments you choose to send us.
• Project administration: contact, proposal, agreement, billing, and correspondence details needed when we agree to work together.
• Website connection data: our hosting and delivery providers may process your IP address, requested pages, browser information, and request times to deliver and protect the website.

Providing enquiry information is voluntary. Without the details needed to understand or contact you, we may be unable to respond or prepare a proposal. Please do not email passwords, full payment-card details, government identifiers, or sensitive personal information.

How and why we use information

We use enquiry information to answer questions and discuss a potential project. If you become a client, we use relevant information to agree and deliver the work, communicate with you, maintain billing records, and resolve service issues.

Where European or UK data-protection law applies, our grounds for processing are steps you request before a contract and performing a contract with you; our legitimate interests in communicating with business contacts, administering projects, and keeping services secure; and applicable legal obligations, including accounting and responding to lawful requests. Where consent is required for an optional use, we will ask for it separately.

Website tools and cookies

This website has no agency-installed advertising pixels, marketing analytics, newsletter signup, CRM integration, or online checkout. Email links open your own email application; an enquiry is sent only when you choose to send it.

Hosting and delivery providers use infrastructure to serve and secure the pages. Hosting or access providers may use essential cookies or similar technologies for authentication, security, and delivery. Their processing is also governed by their own notices.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Who receives information

Information may be handled by providers that support website hosting, security, email delivery, and business recordkeeping, to the extent needed for those activities. If you later pay an invoice, the payment provider named for that transaction handles payment information under its own notice.

International handling

Smortikatlo LLC is a US company, and communications sent to us and our service providers may be handled in the United States or other countries. Privacy protections can differ between countries. Where a transfer is subject to European or UK transfer requirements, an applicable lawful transfer mechanism is required; this notice does not itself provide that mechanism or act as your consent to a transfer.

Client datasets and any required data-processing or transfer arrangements must be agreed separately before a project involves processing personal data on a client’s behalf.

Retention and protection

We keep personal information for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose described here. We consider whether an enquiry is active, whether a client relationship continues, any agreed project or support obligations, legal recordkeeping duties, and unresolved claims. When those reasons no longer apply, we delete or de-identify the information.

The website uses HTTPS. No online service or email transmission is completely secure, so share only information necessary for the enquiry. We limit access to business correspondence to the people and providers who need it for the relevant work.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, restriction of processing, or a portable copy of information. You may withdraw consent for processing based on consent; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, including any direct marketing.
